The medical assistant performs patient care from intake to exit, including vitals, testing, and medication administration. They also provide administrative support and assist clinicians with procedures and documentation.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited medical assistant program and obtain certification or registration within 90 days. At least one year of experience in a similar environment is preferred.
The medical assistant performs patient care from intake to exit, assists with daily care, performs various medical tasks including but not limited to vitals, point of care testing, outreach, medication administration, documentation etc. The medical assistant also performs administrative duties as assigned.
