The HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Physician (FM, IM, or Geriatric training) for our Geriatric Primary Care Clinic in Springfield, IL. Springfield is the capitol of the state and is a suburban community with it's own lake, bike/walking trails, shopping, restaurants, and excellent school district options in and around the city. HSHS Medical Group is a multispecialty medical group made up of over 350 providers across 60 clinics throughout central and southern Illinois inclusive of HSHS Medical Group is an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, which is a Catholic, non-profit integrated healthcare delivery system comprised of 13 hospitals across Illinois and Wisconsin guided by our mission and grounded in modern best practices.

Position Details

  • -100% Outpatient Practice for patients 60 years old and above.
  • Well established, growing practice.
  • Monday-Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 or 5 day work week
  • Dedicated support staff
  • EPIC EMR with DAX Copilot to assist with documentation and support work-life balance
  • H-1B sponsorship available

Position Requirements

  • Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
  • Board Certified or Board Eligibility through ABFM or ABIM

Compensation Package Details

  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Experience Qualifications
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.

Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.

Must be board certified or board eligible.
