The technologist will perform high-quality Computed Tomography (CT) and general radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Responsibilities also include preparing and positioning patients, collaborating with radiologists, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR system.

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT/Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at Montgomery Memorial Hospital.

This hybrid role is ideal for a motivated imaging professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic care.

The technologist will perform both Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiology Fluoroscopy/Diagnostic procedures, supporting a wide range of patient care needs in a community-focused hospital setting.

Schedule

Full-Time, every Fri, Sat, and Sun. 745am-815pm

Responsibilities

  • CT Tech/Rad Tech Job Summary Perform high-quality CT and radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Assist with CT Angiography procedures and other advanced imaging studies as needed.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and flexible scheduling as required by department needs.

Qualifications

  • CT Tech/Rad Tech Job Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
  • ARRT Certification in CT or CT registry eligibility is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in both CT and general radiology preferred.
  • Experience with CT Angiography is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT Certification in Radiology, with CT certification or eligibility also required. A minimum of one year of experience in both CT and general radiology is preferred, along with strong teamwork and communication abilities.
