$18 - $40 / HOUR
The veterinary technician will triage patients, assist DVMs with diagnostics and procedures, and manage hospitalized patient treatments. They are also responsible for maintaining hospital cleanliness and assisting with patient care tasks such as restraint and monitoring.
Candidates must have 2-3 years of clinical experience in a progressive veterinary hospital, including at least 1 year in specialty or ECC. A current CA RVT license or VACSP is required, along with the ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per month.
Per Diem Employee – An employee who is available to work as needed for coverage above and beyond the full time staff members in times of need for efficient patient care. Availability requirements are established by department according to hospital necessity and will include the number and types of shifts, weekends and holidays. Per Diem employees are not eligible for benefits. For overnight shifts worked, a shift differential is offered.
