The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will screen, assess, and implement occupational therapy treatments for patients under the supervision of an OTR. They will also assist in the evaluation process and provide direct patient care across all age groups.
Candidates must hold an associate degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program and possess certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NCBOT). Additionally, they must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Iowa.
