The Oral Surgery Assistant provides empathetic patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures while assisting the surgeon with evaluations and post-op visits. They are also responsible for maintaining sterile environments, documenting patient charts, and preparing surgical trays.
Candidates must have at least one year of dental or surgical assisting experience and hold a valid radiology certification. Proficiency in sterilization principles, HIPAA regulations, and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required.
