The COTA is responsible for evaluating resident physical and mental abilities to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs. They also maintain detailed patient records and track progress to ensure residents achieve greater independence.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold a current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license. One to two years of related experience is preferred, along with the ability to pass background and drug screenings.
