The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality patient care, performing assessments, and establishing treatment plans within the hospitalist service. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to staff and patient education while maintaining positive professional relationships.
Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Hospitalist Medicine service at UH Geneva Medical Center.
This is a full time night-shift position with rotating weekends and holidays.
Schedule will be 7 nights on and 7 nights off (12 hour shifts).
Nurse Practitioners must have ACNP to support ICU.
May occasionally support Emergency Medicine for high patient volumes.
APP experience preferred and new grads will be considered for New grad THRIVE training program.
A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction.
Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

Education Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Experience Qualifications 1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred) 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills.
