The technologist operates Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and SPECT/CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams. They are responsible for preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering injections, and ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and hold current New York State licensure. Required certifications include ARRT (N) or CNMT, ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
