The MRI Technologist performs routine and advanced MRI scans across multiple sites while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They are responsible for maintaining equipment, managing patient records in the Radiology Information System, and supporting the department with inventory and training.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an AMA-approved radiography school. Current ARRT or ARMRIT registration, state licensure, and CPR certification are required to perform MRI procedures independently.

Essential duties and responsibilities: (90%) Patient MRI Imaging
(5%) MRI Department Support 1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades 2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary 3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable
(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned
1. High School diploma, or equivalent 2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography 3. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need 4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable 5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification 6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently 7. Certification in imaging specialty
