What You'll Love About Working at ATC Meaningful work with children and families Collaborative team of Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Physical Therapists, educators, and medical professionals Opportunity to build long-term relationships with the children you serve Professional development and continuing education opportunities Supportive leadership that values collaboration, innovation, and clinical excellence The opportunity to make a lasting impact every single day What You'll Do As an Occupational Therapist, you will: Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation Develop individualized treatment plans that address fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual motor integration, self-care, play skills, and functional independence Provide engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental differences Collaborate with families, physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to maximize each child's progress Educate parents and caregivers on strategies that support skill development outside of therapy sessions Complete timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students, when applicable Maintain a safe, organized, and therapeutic treatment environment Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, treatment planning, and quality improvement initiatives Stay current with best practices and continue growing professionally through continuing education and clinical collaboration

Requirements

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Texas Occupational Therapist license Current CPR certification Experience working with children is preferred Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Passion for helping children achieve greater independence and improve quality of life
