The clinician provides reproductive health care services, including contraceptive education, pelvic exams, and laboratory screenings. They are also responsible for maintaining medical records, achieving health center fiscal goals, and participating in research activities.
The Family Planning Clinician is part of the staff team that provides reproductive health care services at the health center of assignment in accordance with Planned Parenthood of Illinois’ policies, protocols, and procedures in the PPIL Manual of Standards and Guidelines.

Education A registered nurse holding current license in the State of Illinois, who has successfully completed additional didactic training in order to qualify as a nurse practitioner and holds current license in the State of Illinois as an advanced practice nurse OR a physician assistant with an active IL license.
Experience Previous work experience in a family planning clinical setting preferred.

\n $60 - $62.50 an hour This position includes a sign-on/retention bonus of $5,000 that is paid throughout the first year of employment ($2,000 on the first paycheck).
The Roseland clinic is a site eligible for the HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program offers loan repayment to registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, and nursing faculty in exchange for a two-year service commitment at a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses (or, for nurse faculty, an eligible school of nursing).
