The Licensed Practical Nurse will regularly evaluate residents' physical and mental health, dispense medications accurately, and maintain open communication with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care. Key duties also involve observing and promptly reporting significant changes in resident health status, assessing pain, providing emotional support, and maintaining detailed resident records.
Candidates must possess a Licensed Practical Nurse license from the SD Board of Nursing and ideally have 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting. Essential qualifications include the ability to work specified hours, adequate visual acuity, and effective communication and hearing skills to perform all job functions satisfactorily.
