The ER Tech I assists with patient care, including obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and providing clerical support in the emergency department. They also communicate patient information to nursing staff and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and one of the specified qualifications such as a New Mexico CNA certification or relevant experience. BLS certification is required upon hire, with additional training required within three months.
DUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED Must possess one of the following qualifications: a New Mexico CNA certification, completion of Level I and II courses from an accredited nursing college, or two years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
