The nurse is responsible for dispensing medication, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They also provide basic medical services and evaluate patients for side effects or reactions in an outpatient recovery setting.
Candidates must hold an active California nursing or technician license, such as RN, LVN, or LPT. Current CPR and first aid certifications are also required, along with experience in triage and medical emergencies.

As an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPT (Licensed Psychiatric Technician), you are responsible for providing basic medical services to patients in an outpatient recovery environment; maintaining standards of professional nursing practice, and providing for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with company policy and procedures; and for maintaining thorough documentation of patient records and medical files per state and federal regulations.
