The Advanced Practice Provider will assist neurosurgeons in the operating room and clinic. They are responsible for assessing, planning, and treating patients in coordination with the clinical team.
Candidates must be graduates of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with active Idaho licensure. Previous operating room experience is required, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Assist Neurosurgeons in the operating room and clinic Assess, Plan, and Treat patients in coordination with the patient, family, and clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented, down to earth, flexible, and friendly personality to keep up with this busy practice. Must have excellent organization, follow-up and communication skills for dealing with patients, their families, physicians and other healthcare providers. Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Licensed in the state of Idaho as a PA or ACNP by the time of employment DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure by the time of employment Current BLS and ACLS Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
