The Counselor I provides assessment, prevention, and crisis intervention through home-based and family-focused support services. Responsibilities include managing up to 15 cases, maintaining therapeutic relationships, and documenting service plans in the agency database.
Requires an Associate's degree in human services or a related field with 2-3 years of experience, though a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Description The Counselor I is responsible for providing assessment, prevention, and crisis intervention through home-based and family focused support services. The Counselor I maintains a flexible, organized and efficient work schedule and is subject to work more than a normal work day and be on-call to facilitate program services.
