• Position Overview BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting for an experienced, board-certified, fellowship trained Thoracic Surgeon to perform a full range of thoracic procedures and practice exclusively at St.
• Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

• Joseph’s Hospital is a flagship hospital and one of the 16 hospitals that comprise BayCare Health System.
• The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and have experience with minimally invasive robotic surgery.
• An interest and expertise in esophageal surgery is strongly preferred.
• The thoracic surgeon will be a member of the mature thoracic multidisciplinary team at St.
• Joseph’s Hospital.
• There will be close interaction and call sharing with three cardiothoracic surgeons.

Qualifications

Board Certification by The American Board of Thoracic Surgery. A minimum of 5 years experience is required, including minimally invasive robotic surgery as well as interest in esophageal surgery.
