How you’ll contribute
A Radiology Technician who excels in this role
Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Review patient history and physician’s orders.
Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
Monitor patient’s condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
Perform quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report malfunctions as necessary.
Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
Analyze results, identify quality issues, and take corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.
Provide direct support in meeting departmental service level.
Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts/unit as needed.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

What we’re looking for Applicants should be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program. Additional requirements include:
Current radiation operator certificate in state of practice.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology.
BCLS required.
