The CT Technologist assesses patients and performs routine CT procedures while ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols. They also mentor junior staff and students and assist in departmental operations.
Candidates must complete a formal training program in Radiologic Technology and be registered by the ARRT. Advanced certification in CT is required within two years of employment, along with a current Basic Life Support certification.
