The therapist evaluates, plans, directs, and administers individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at restoring or improving function or preventing disability. Responsibilities also include writing comprehensive documentation such as evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while maintaining adherence to relevant regulatory policies.
Candidates must be capable of performing comprehensive physical therapy duties, including patient evaluation, treatment planning, and detailed documentation, while counseling patients and families on care plans and prognoses. Maintaining current knowledge of legislative policies applicable to Physical Therapy is also required.
Evaluates, plans, directs and administers individualized therapeutic treatment programs aimed at the restoration or improvement of function, or the prevention of disability. Writes evaluations, progress notes/reports, discharge summaries and maintains patient files. Counsels patients and/or family members regarding Rehabilitation diagnosis, plan of care and prognosis. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as they apply to the profession of Physical Therapy and adheres to same.
