The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring a therapeutic and safe environment. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with assessments, maintaining health records, and conducting therapeutic group sessions.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for a BA or BS in a related mental health field. Previous experience with behavioral health patients, especially children and adolescents, is strongly preferred.
Education: High school diploma/GED required. BA or BS Degree in a related mental health field is preferred.
