The medical assistant will manage patient scheduling, documentation in electronic medical records, and clerical tasks. They will also assist providers with examinations, obtain patient vitals, and maintain exam room hygiene.
Scheduling appointments;
Pre-certifications/authorizations;
Telephone calls;
Interaction with ancillary services;
Routine clerical functions;
Documentation in electronic medical records;
Cleaning, monitoring, and stocking exam rooms.
Rooming patients,
Obtaining vitals and histories,
Assisting Physician/Provider with examinations and in-office duties.
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
