Inova Fairfax Hospital - Inpatient Rehab is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join the team.
This role will be a PRN position with 2 weekend shifts per month, 1 Major and 1 Minor holiday a year.

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities: Selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Licensure: Physical Therapist License (VA licensure or compact priviledges) Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association Preferred Qualification: 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (PT)
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, with a Master's preferred, and a valid Virginia Physical Therapist license. BLS/CPR certification is required upon start, and while experience is not mandatory, a year in an inpatient rehab setting is preferred.
