The Admissions RN conducts comprehensive clinical assessments to determine hospice eligibility, educates patients and families on services and benefits, and collaborates with various teams. This role involves initiating and completing the admission process while providing essential emotional support and clinical guidance during transitions.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license and a minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, ER, ICU, home health, or case management. Essential qualifications include strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and compassionate communication abilities.
