The Patient Care Secretary supports the Team Manager by handling all patient care related clerical procedures, including screening calls, facilitating communication between patients/families and staff, and maintaining daily schedules. Responsibilities also involve establishing and closing patient charts, managing required documentation mailings, and entering patient and volunteer data into tracking systems.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent education. Preferred qualifications include three years of prior work experience, good typing skills, computer literacy, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent communication and telephone skills.
