The Phlebotomy Technician Apprentice performs venipunctures, specimen collections, and ensures accurate patient identification and labeling. They also handle clerical duties, process orders, and maintain effective communication with patients and medical staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain a phlebotomy certification within six months of program completion. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within the service area are required.
High School graduate or equivalent required; some college with courses in a health or science-related field preferred.
