The SLPA will implement individualized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy for children with various communication and developmental needs. They are also responsible for documenting sessions accurately and collaborating with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist and families.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program and possess an active state SLPA license or eligibility for one. Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, family-centered care are required.
