The clinician will provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care services, including physical exams, STI testing, and contraceptive management. They will also document patient encounters in the EHR and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet productivity and quality standards.
Candidates must hold a current California license as an NP, PA, or CNM, along with a valid NPI number and CPR BLS certification. Experience in sexual and reproductive health care is preferred, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desired.

Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) is seeking a bilingual (Spanish) Advanced Practice Clinician for our Chico Health Center. The position is full-time, 32 hours per week. The Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, and other licensed providers) will function as part of a healthcare team to provide care under the medical supervision of the Medical Director in accordance with PPFA and PPNorCal Medical Standards and Guidelines and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Work in the health center providing comprehensive clinical sexual and reproductive health care services to all patients in accordance with evidence-based practice protocols.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. However, APCs are responsible for the medical oversight and instruction of the Reproductive Health Specialists and other medical support staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Successful completion of accredited Advanced Practice Clinician program.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to document in electronic health record concisely, accurately, and according to PPNorCal protocols. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to understand and interpret statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and experience with EHR & EPM systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required.

The wage scale reflects the compensation that a new employee can expect to receive if offered employment. The wage scale for this position is $71.00- $84.86 per hour, based on relevant professional years of experience.
