The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. They are responsible for developing treatment programs, implementing discharge plans, and directing support personnel.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and possess a valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license. National Board Certification and Basic Life Support certification are also required.
The Occupational Therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients related to their occupational therapy needs within a clinical (inpatient and outpatient) setting. Participates in established occupational therapy programs including patient care and education. Evaluates and treats patients and establishes treatment programs and/or implements comprehensive discharge plans. Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
