Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians work in clients' homes and the community to provide daily living skills training and support. They build relationships with clients, assist with goal progress, administer medication, and provide crisis support when necessary.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience working with adults in a supervised setting. Staff are required to obtain MHRT-1 certification within one year of hire and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
Education: High School diploma or GED Certification: Staff must be committed to earning their Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician-1 within one year of their date of hire.
