Direct Support Professionals work in residential homes to support adult clients with developmental disabilities in developing daily living skills and routines. Responsibilities include providing direct care, administering medication, assisting with household tasks, and facilitating community outings.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and strong communication and computer skills. Applicants are required to hold or obtain a DSP Provisional Certificate and a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) certificate.
