We are seeking talented individuals to help drive the success of youth in our communities. As a Direct Care Staff you will provide direct supervision to adolescents ages 12 -18 and/or adults. You will serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residents in our care.
Snapshot of Daily Duties Ensuring all client needs are met including but not limited to: meals provided, medications administered as prescribed, all documentation completed by the end of the shift (DAPs, communication log, monthly reports, QA’s and incident reports as needed); Maintain routine order at the residential facilities and during activities Address group concerns according to Positive Peer Culture standards and elicit positive change for residents Transportation to and from various appointments and activities (in company vehicles); Prevent and de-escalate crisis according to SCOA policy and protocols; The Must Haves Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required Over the age of 21 Maturity, empathy and patience Be special – Not everyone can do what we do The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and follow proper protocols
