The psychiatrist will conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing follow-up care for patients. They will also participate in daily multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Candidates must be Board Certified in General Psychiatry and hold an active or eligible Florida medical license. An active DEA registration is also required for this position.
Full-time Inpatient General Psychiatrist Location: Orlando, FLCentral Florida Behavioral is a private psychiatric center offering a full continuum of multidisciplinary care that includes inpatient/acute care, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The programs serve children, adolescents and adults with general psychiatric, substance abuse and dual treatment diagnoses. Position Overview: Employment Type: Inpatient General Psychiatrist, 1099 Independent Contractor Schedule / Hours: On-site Monday-Friday schedule Call: 1-2 nights a week after hours telephone call, 1:4 weekend rounding Patient Volume: up to 24 patients a day with assistance if needed, ages 18 and older Location: Orlando, FL Practice Setting: Inpatient Adult Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Social Workers and Therapists Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. Compensation and Benefits: 1099 Independent Contractor
