Lead 3–4 group therapy sessions daily using evidence-based curricula and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team. Monitor member progress, document clinical outcomes, and engage in local community outreach to support the organization's mission.
Requires an active clinical license such as LADC, CADC, LCSW, or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience leading groups in a substance use disorder setting. Candidates must be proficient with technology, including EMR and telehealth platforms, and demonstrate a strong commitment to recovery-oriented care.
What You’ll Do Conduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals’ appropriateness for our program. Complete clinical assessments as assigned each day Provide individual support, as needed, such as crisis intervention, referrals to other resources, liaising with outside parties involved in the member’s treatment and coordinating with the Care Navigators. As census increases, you will lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum. Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework. Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches. Monitor member progress and document outcomes. Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members. Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
An active license or certification: LCSW Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting. High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc. Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success. Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed. Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
