The Ultrasound Technician performs various ultrasound studies including abdominal, vaginal, and OBGYN exams while ensuring accurate fetal measurements and history. They are also responsible for patient care, physician assistance, and the proper operation and maintenance of department equipment.
Candidates must be graduates of a formal Ultrasound Technology program and hold or be eligible for ARDMS registration with OB/GYN certifications. Additional requirements include Nuchal Translucency and CLEAR certifications within one year of hire, along with Basic Life Support certification.
