The Patient Care Technician provides clinical and administrative support to the Vascular Access and Infusion Services team, including preparing patients for procedures and managing infusion referrals. They also maintain sterile fields, document patient care in the EMR, and assist with quality initiatives like CLABSI prevention.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma and possess a certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Emergency Room Technician (ERT). A minimum of six months of relevant work experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
