The Lab Assistant performs routine and STAT blood collection and specimen processing following established laboratory procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and managing phlebotomy supply inventory.
Candidates must possess a valid Phlebotomy Certification from the State of California and current BLS certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with basic phlebotomy skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
