The physician will provide comprehensive orthopedic care across the musculoskeletal continuum, including sports medicine, spine, and trauma services. They will operate within a high-volume practice environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical efficiency.
The Orthopedic Institute is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon (General Orthopedics) to join our practice based in our Villages offices. TOI has an established 40+ year legacy practice with 9 clinic locations across Florida, 6 Express Ortho urgent care sites driving same- and next-day access, and 45+ physicians across multiple subspecialties. Our physicians practice across the full musculoskeletal continuum including sports medicine, spine, trauma, reconstruction, interventional pain, and more. Our robust infrastructure allows surgeons to operate at the top of their license.

EDUCATION and LICENSURE: Board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training is a plus, but not required Clear and active license in the respective state (or willingness to obtain state license) EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes demanding environment. Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds unassisted.
