The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for producing quality diagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures following prescribed protocols. They must also perform ancillary tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations while maintaining radiation safety for patients and staff.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and a diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology. A minimum of one year of experience as a registered CT Technologist, along with active Florida and ARRT(CT) licenses and BLS certification, is required.
Minimum one-year experience as a registered Computed Tomography Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
