The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments, diagnosing disorders, and providing case management services. They may also provide individual or family therapy and collaborate with other providers to ensure effective treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program. They are also required to have internship and post-doctoral training in pediatric assessment and hold or be eligible for Illinois licensure.
Formal training and proficiency administering the ADOS-2, preferred Preference working with young children (ages 2+) Passion for working with children with developmental delays Personal Attributes: Excellent oral, listening, communication and self-awareness skills Comfortable persona to better develop relationships with children and their families Development Mindset with a passion for continuous learning and education Autonomy with the ability to work independently Work Environment and Physical Demands: Able to provide training in, and implement, de-escalation skills for clients Ability to lift or carry 30 lbs Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapy Travel Requirements Some travel within assigned region for training, meetings and supporting client coverage needs.
