• Ambulatory Care Pharmacist opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
• Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Ambulatory Care Pharmacist position.
• The Ambulatory Care Pharmacist plays a critical role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to underserved populations in a community-based setting.
• This position focuses on improving health outcomes by managing chronic diseases, educating patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and addressing the unique challenges of healthcare access in rural communities.
• They also conduct clinical research and practice advancement projects as well as patient care quality and regulatory compliance initiatives designed to improve medication-use processes or pharmacy practice.
• Clinical Pharmacists provide medication and practice-related education/training and actively serve as preceptors for Doctor of Pharmacy students.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution; College diploma in the field of Pharmacy; Maintains annual Pharmacy educational requirements Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: MT State RPh license or PharmD license. Board of Pharmacy Specialties® Certification in ambulatory care Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Clinical pharmacy experience (2-4 years) in an ambulatory care setting preferred. BLS/ACLS certification within 6 months of hire Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/week
