The Mobile Mammography Technologist provides high-quality screening mammography services in a mobile clinic setting across the South Puget Sound region. They are responsible for safe patient care, equipment operation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining efficient workflow.
Candidates must hold an ARRT (R) registry and be ARRT (M) registered or eligible, along with a valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification. A current BLS certification is also required to perform the duties of this role.
MobileMammo NW is the South Puget Sound’s first dedicated Mobile Mammography Program, established by the TRA Medical Imaging Foundation and operated by TRA Medical Imaging.
The Mobile Mammography Technologist provides high-quality screening mammography services in a mobile clinic setting across South Puget Sound and surrounding communities. This role is responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care while operating independently in a dynamic mobile environment.
The Technologist performs screening exams in accordance with established clinical protocols and ensures compliance with MQSA, ACR, FDA, and Washington State regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining imaging quality, adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards, completing required documentation, and supporting quality control procedures to ensure the mobile unit remains inspection-ready.
This position also supports the daily operation of the mobile unit, including equipment setup, calibration checks, and coordination to maintain efficient workflow and uninterrupted service delivery.
The Mobile Mammography Technologist plays a key role in supporting MobileMammo NW’s mission to expand access to breast cancer screening, particularly for underserved populations, by providing professional, patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect.
Strong technical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent communication are essential to ensure a positive patient experience and high standards of care across all service locations.
$39.41 - $67.01 per hour based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities. This role is also eligible for a $10,000.00 sign on bonus (based on FTE)!
10 hour shifts - including some weekend days
As a member of our MobileMammo NW team, this role will include travel across the South Sound.
