The therapist will provide individual psychotherapy and conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients in IOP and PHP programs. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and ensure continuity of care between onsite and telehealth services.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess an active Maryland LCSW-C or LCPC license. Experience in higher-acuity outpatient settings and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities are required.
We are seeking a licensed Advanced Therapist (LCSW‑C or LCPC) to provide high-quality clinical services to clients enrolled in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) levels of care. This hybrid position blends in-person clinical services at our Glen Burnie location with remote telehealth care, supporting both client access and clinician work-life balance. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician skilled in treating moderate to severe mental health conditions, comfortable working with higher-acuity populations, and able to provide structured, evidence-based therapy in a multidisciplinary treatment setting. Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy services to clients enrolled in IOP and PHP programs Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with IOP/PHP medical necessity requirements Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate for higher levels of care Monitor client progress, treatment engagement, and clinical outcomes Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Collaboration & Program Support Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and clinical leadership Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case conferences Coordinate care transitions, referrals, and aftercare planning as needed Support continuity of care between onsite and telehealth services Compliance & Professional Practice Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice Maintain compliance with HIPAA, COMAR regulations, and ComeBack Care policies Meet clinical productivity and documentation standards consistent with IOP/PHP services Participate in required trainings, clinical meetings, and continuing education Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related clinical field Active Maryland LCSW‑C or LCPC license in good standing (required) Experience providing therapy in IOP, PHP, or comparable higher-acuity outpatient settings Strong understanding of treatment planning and medical necessity for structured programs Comfort delivering services both onsite and via telehealth Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and serious mental illness Training in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or ACT Experience working within interdisciplinary treatment teams Bilingual abilities (a plus)
