$17 - $27 / HOUR
Perform venipuncture, capillary, and arterial blood collections for patients of all ages. Handle clerical duties in the reception area and manage phlebotomy supply inventory.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and phlebotomy experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work alternating weekends and holidays.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Venipunctures Blood cultures Assist in the reception area with all clerical duties Maintains supplies Knowledge of test requirements Assists the technical staff when asked Work at least every other weekend Work Holidays Capillary blood collection Assists with Arterial line draw collections. Arterial collection after 1 year phlebotomy experience with proper training/competency Clerical Duties Participation in all GPE initiatives from leadership down to Lab subcommittee GPE initiatives Performs other related work as required or requested.
