The Physician Assistant will provide OR first assist coverage and manage perioperative care for general surgery patients. Responsibilities also include rounding, handling consults and admissions, and performing floor procedures.
· The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience. · Candidates with at least one to three years of surgical experience and/or surgical residency trained candidates preferred, but new graduates will be considered as will new nurse practitioners with RNF certification and surgical experience.
