The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with medical complexities under the direction of a Registered Nurse. They will utilize a multidisciplinary approach to address the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the children and their families.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with a current Kentucky LPN license. A current negative Tuberculosis skin test and CPR certification are required for the position.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current LPN licensure in the state of Kentucky. Recent graduate with a provisional license Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.
Six months of experience as a practicing LPN with pediatric experience. Current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) required. Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.

PPECs initiate daily conversation among pediatricians, therapists, and family, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the betterment of the child.
