About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant will administer therapy interventions, assist with patient mobility, and monitor patient progress under the direction of a supervising PT. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring a safe environment for all patients.

How you’ll contribute

A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role

Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.

Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.

Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.

Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Licenses: Current PTA license in North Carolina.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program and possess a current Physical Therapist Assistant license in North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and prior experience in rehab or acute care settings is preferred.
