The Medical Assistant performs direct patient care, including wound care, dressing changes, and medication administration under the supervision of clinical staff. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress in the electronic medical record and assisting with interdisciplinary team meetings.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Medical Assistants and hold a current state certification. The role requires physical mobility, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform patient transfers.
Constant ability to read information, including closeup constant ability to use a computer screen; frequent use of good overall vision, including color perception.
