The Behavioral Health Specialist performs direct patient care duties and services for children and adolescents under the supervision of a unit charge nurse. They support patients with various mood and behavioral disorders within a trauma-informed care environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 21 years old. Preferred qualifications include some college coursework and one year of experience working with emotionally-disturbed or chemically-dependent individuals.
